CNAG is one of the largest centres in Europe for sequencing capacity and genomic analysis, founded by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and the Catalan Government. Competitive grants and contractual research with the private sector provide additional funds. It provides expertise on DNA processing, analysis and interpretation for variant identification and diagnostics across the European and International Research community.
CNAG role within the LUCIA project will be the generation and analysis (variant identification) of whole genome sequencing, and RNA sequencing data (within Work Package 5) for the identification of risk factors in different patient populations.
