Emoda Software is an ICT company based in Turkey specialised in providing research and development (R&D) solutions for healthcare. The company is at the forefront of developing innovative mHealth applications that integrate with IoT devices to monitor and track patient health data in real-time. They develop decision support systems (CDSS) and work closely with healthcare providers to tailor their CDSS solutions. They participate in several EU funded projects.

Emoda’s role in the LUCIA project is to develop two mHealth applications: patient app, and a clinician app. The patient app will act as a central hub to collect and store health determinants, facilitate data gathering, and a notification-based system capable to receive, process and display messages, alerts, lifestyle and environment drivers while enabling patients to organise and keep patients’ lifestyle, records and notes. The clinician app will track patients’ biomarker readings from developed technologies in the project. Both apps will be developed using responsive design, and co-design approaches will be followed with patients and clinicians to ensure the best user experience.
