Ulster University is Northern Ireland’s largest university. Their core business activities are teaching & learning, research & innovation, and technology & knowledge transfer. The Ulster team involved in the LUCIA project are academics with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), geographical information systems, data analysis and particularly geospatial and health analytics, UI/UX design and evaluation, visualisation, stakeholder engagement and co-creation.
Ulster’s role in the project includes stakeholder engagement, user requirements gathering, geospatial analytics, and AI risk factor modelling.
Ulster are leading WP1 LUCIA human-centred and trustworthy AI solutions, and the following tasks:
Task 1.1 Definition of clinical and user requirements, co-creation, indicators, KPIs and validation metrics.
Task 5.1 Risk Factor Analysis on Environmental and Sociodemographic GeoSpatial Data.
